Sir, 

    Please allow me to focus through the columns of your esteemed daily on the inconveniences created by the thoughtless use of microphones which is the main cause of sound pollution. 

                    Now-a-days indiscriminate use of microphones on all occasions has a torture to public life. There may be merry-making within the limit, but when mikes blarre film songs round the clock, it becomes a nuisance to all and sunday. It disturbs the students and patients in the neighbourhood and most people are compelled to pass sleepless nights. I think the people who are suffering and th police should take necessary step together to stop this careless use of microphones to stop sound pollution. Moreover, a strong public opinion should be created through your editorial.
