Questions and answers of Three Questions

Three Questions broad / long / descriptive important questions and answers for Class - 12 | WBCHSE | Three Questions questions and answers

Q. Who was the wounded man ? Why did he want to kill the Tsar ? Who wounded him and how ?
Ans :- The wounded man was the brother of the Tsar's enemy.
He wanted to kill the Tsar because the Tsar once executed his brother and seized his property.
The Tsar's bodyguard wounded the man when the man was waiting for the Tsar to be killed. The man knew that the Tsar had gone alone to meet the hermit. So he decided to take his revenge on the Tsar on his way back. But the Tsar did not return. Then the man came out from his ambush to find the Tsar. As soon as he came out he came upon the bodyguard of the Tsar. The Tsar's bodyguard at once recognized him and wounded him immediately. Thus the beaded man was wounded.

Q. What was the first question of the Tsar? Discuss the answer which he got from the hermit?
Ans :- The Tsar wanted to know the answer of three questions to get success. The first question was – What was the right time to begin anything.. He did not get satisfactory reply to this question from the learned men of his kingdom. So he went to a hermit, noted for his wisdom. The hermit told him that the best time to begin anything is - ‘Now’ because it is the only time when one has power.

Q. How did the king and the hermit help the wounded man?
Ans :- The king and the hermit helped the wounded man by providing him the shelter and protected from the army. The king washed and covered the wound of the man with his handkerchief, but the blood would not stop flowing. The king re-dressed the wound until it stopped bleeding. They took him to hut for taking rest and king also gave him fresh water after being relaxed.

Q.“Forgive me” said the bearded man. Why did the man ask for the Tsar’s forgiveness? Explain.
Ans :- The bearded man was the enemy of the Tsar who sore to revenge himself on the Tsar because he had executed his brother and seized his property. The man came to know that the Tsar had gone alone to visit the hermit, and he resolved to kill the Tsar on his way back. But day passed and the Tsar did not return. So the man came out of his ambush and came upon the Tsar’s bodyguard recognized him and wounded him. The man somehow escaped from them and reached to the Tsar. The Tsar wounded his wounds and saved his life. So the man begged an apology of the Tsar.

Q. “You have already been answered.” Who said this and to whom? Explain the line.
Ans :- The above quoted line was said by the hermit to the Tsar.
Explaining his sentence, the hermit tells the Tsar that if he had not pitied his weakness and had not dug those two beds for him, but had gone his way, that bearded man would have attacked him, and he would have repented of not having stayed with him. So, for the Tsar the most important time was when he was digging the beds; and the hermit was the most important man; and to do him good was his most important business.

Q. What were the three questions of the Tsar? What reply did he get from the hermit?
Ans :- The Tsar wanted to know the reply of three questions to succeed in life. Firstly, he wanted to know the right time for every action. Secondly, he wanted to know the most important people for him, and finally he wanted to know the most important work for him.In order to find proper reply, the Tsar went to a hermit where the hermit told him that the right time for every action is now. The most important person is one with whom one is now, and the most important occupation is to do the person good.

Q. What were the hermit’s answers to the three questions? Write each answer separately. Which answer do you like most, and why?
Ans :- In answer to Tsar's first question, the hermit said that there is only one important time 'Now'. It is the only time when you have power to act.
In answer to Tsar's second question, the hermit said that the most important person is the one with whom we are at the present.
In response to Tsar's second question, the hermit answered that the most important thing to do is to do that person good.
I like the answer of the first question the most because time has the supreme power. It can take you to height if you do something good and can also make you fall on the ground if you won't act in presence. One should live and act according to present.

    1. In the story'Three questions' by Leo Tolstoy all the answer were given by the hermit that was pertinent, appreciate and logical.
First of all the hermit said that the most important time is present which is considered to be correct because the Tsar in his present time he was digging the seed beds and was busy in a work which helped him to escape death as the enemy wanted to eliminate Tsar.
Secondly the hermit said that the most important person is the one you are with, this statement also genuine and valid because he treated the injured man with love affection as a result in spite of being an enemy the changed into a true and loyal friend.
Thirdly the hermit said that the most important job is to do good to the people around you, which is absolutely true and necessary as the Tsar intended to take care of the hermit first by helping him in his job and also provided aid to the wounded man. Therefore he was rewarded by escaping death, gaining a loyal friend and finally he got answers of all other questions.
